My Story

Abraham Hernandez

Owner, Shoe Specialist

Abraham Hernandez isn’t your ordinary shoe repairman. He is a man of integrity that creates a sense of dignity when he’s present.

Every time he mends a leather bag or restores a leather wallet, passed down from the generations of his salt of the earth customers, they receive a form of love that grew from the dreams of his beloved family and ancestors.

Abraham, also known as Brian made America his home more than 20 years ago. He worked diligently to support his wife and 4 amazing children. Times were not always easy, but Brian never stopped believing in a better future for himself and his family.

The art of leather isn’t just about shoes or clothing, its about being self-sufficient and innovative. Exposing the youth to this important trade, gives them insight into what they can achieve with their lives. More importantly it shows them the power of love and dedication through the guiding hand of Brian, more than you local shoe repairman.
